Day 7: Ullapool (rest day)

During which I vegitated, ate fish and chips, and found my first propper pub.

Ullapool Harbour – the first sunshine of the past week is showing itself on the distant hills.

My guess is after a stroll along Loch Broom and a climb up and over your stopover tonight will be somewhere at the top end of Strath Beag. I hope you’re suitably refreshed after replenishing your essential bodily fluids in Ullapool.

I’m also in awe. Glad you were sensible and listened to your body. Picking up where you left off restored and refreshed will make it a much better experience. You remain in my prayers daily. Xx

Toby, it’s exhausting just reading your blog! Please take care of yourself, rest and recover in Ullapool. Loved the photo of your tent and the scenery is stunning. But wet. xxx
